EPISODE 1: NOSEDIVE

It's amazing how social media validates people's self worth. This episode showcases the 'importance' of amounts of likes and social status. It shows how social media has such a strong pull on how people are perceived. Toward the end, Lacie Pound (Bryce Dallas Howard) starts to take a social nosedive and finally stops giving a shit when she realises "I've hit social status rock bottom. Fuck it" Right on! We all have levels of how much we care about what people think of us. Sadly, too many people rely on likes and comments to validate how much their lives are worth. Posting pictures and statuses that they feel others will like purely for validation. Very thought-provoking show. Definitely worth the watch.
